I know it's a little belated but just like to share with you how I celebrate my birthday...
    At the Soup Restaurant!

    The Famous SamSui Chicken

You'll wrap it up with lettuce. Yum Yum!

I like the food in general but then it's rather expensive. I'll rate the ambience 9/10 ba, coz it's kinda cool!

What's in this cute little box?

My light cheese cake from 4 leaves! Sianz, everytime I wanna buy the strawberry short cake, they're sold out. But luckily this one taste good too.

    Pix with my family.

    Nice shot by my sis.

And they started singing birthday song...

    I made my birthday wish!

Blow the candles and we're nearing to eating the cake.

    My beloved Sis
    Enjoying the cake.

Lets take a short break and have some entertainment before my other photos are ready for post. Preluding...
I went to F.I.R's concert with Tomoko on 8 August 2008, National Day Eve. It was my first concert in life. The tickets were free coz my cousin gave them to me. I've got 4 tix but only used 2.
Nice View of the SG Indoor Stadium. The concert was great. F.I.R's lead singer Faye sang well "live". Better than what she usually performed on TV.
Blur shot coz it was a last min decision to go and I didn't bring my camera along. The special guest was Jam Hsiao, one of the emerging stars in Mandarin Pop industry. He sang extremely great. The pix was his rock duet with Faye, "We will rock you".

Remember this bag? It was my 21st birthday present.
I keep seeing ppl with the same bag. And the worst thing was I carried that bag on that day I took this photo.
This is the voted funniest photo ever. This man, whom I saw at the bus stop near my house area, had his comb stuck in his hair w/o knowing. Lolz. And I secretly took a photo of him!

This very tall guy I saw on the MRT. Look carefully at his head. It's touching the top of the train carriage. His chin is at the top rails we hold when the train moves.

I wanted to wait for my photo to be sent to me but was too impatient. So I'll post my photo with Fire Sparkle the next time. Here's the update on the Mooncake Festival Celebration at my Auntie's place. Her condo management holds a party annually and my extended family clan attends it every year! Haha.
The beautiful lights for decoration of the pool side for the Festival. My little cousin J@zli in the photo with his fire sparkle.
The colourful lights along the pool and the reflection of the lights on the water. I was reminded by my sister that there wasn't any moon on that Saturday. Haiz, coz it was cloudy.. at least that was the case for the East side of Singapore.
My dad's in the picture, 1st from right, wearing yellow and my mum's beside him. dressed in maroon. My apologies for the badly taken photo coz it was rather dark and I was using my outdated 2M pixel camera phone.
Our family had 2 tables this year, but there were fewer of my "family clan" members than past years. But the food my granny prepared was delicious as usual. Curry chicken, noodles, otah, chicken wings, glutinous rice, pop corn chicken... The Best of All.. Chocolate Fondue!! So due to the amount of food available, we didn't eat any mooncake on Mooncake Festival. Lolz.

    Specs vs Contacts

Singapore has the highest percentage of ppl with myopia. Many of you need glasses or contact lens. But how much do you know abt wearing glasses or contact lens? I'm gonna drop the topic on lasik coz I haven't tried.
I chose this photo coz I'm a Librian and I'm talking abt spectacles. Haha. However do you know that the nerdy pair of specs also has its own fashion? The current fashionable eye wear is shown in the photo below.

I just went the optician again in 2 mths. The previous was to make a pair of new glasses. Today's trip was to adjust the glasses so that they'll fit onto my nose nicely. Since I was there at the same shop I visit since year back, I made my yearly supply of contact lens.

My optician and I decided to be adventurous. After I "complained" abt being unable to see what's on the lecture screen, he said that perhaps he'll give me a pair of trial lens to try if an increase in the power of the lens would result in me feeling giddy.

This is because I belong to the minority whereby perfect eyesight 6/6, is impossible to attain. Hence, even with glasses or contacts, my eyesight would only be corrected to abt 12/12 or 24/24. Plus my left eye has a 25 degree of astigmatism, which worsen my condition. My friends know I always can't see what's on the screen during lessons.

He's really an experienced optician. Coz he advise that I increase only the power of my contacts for 1 side of my eyes. The best is to increase my right lens by 25 degrees. Coz when you wear contact lens, they're sticking right onto your eyeball swhile specs are at a distance away from your eyes. Thus you should have the power of your contact lens to be of a lower power, preferably 25 lesser.

However after 500 degrees, lens would progressively increase by 50, from my previous 500. Here comes the problem coz I may be giddy. He double checked with my record for my specs and realised the right len on my new specs is 525 but I couldn't see clearly. Simply means the correct power might by 550 or 575. Since that's the case, he increased it by 50 degrees.

Now I enjoy a better, crispier vision without feeling giddy. It was a clever treatment. I can see the road signs clearly for once! I really cherish good eyesight, and so must you!

Hi all, I've created this blog to share my life with all my friends, like you. Some may find it as an avenue to find new interesting places to visit, or nice clothes to shop. Haha, but mainly it's about what happen in my life.
Mooncake season is here again! Year in year out my family usually buys Li Bai mooncakes from Sheraton Towers at 39 Scotts Road. Their mooncakes are one of the best I've ever eaten so far. I prefer snow skin ones to the original crusts. However this year this box of mooncakes is given, so it's original crust. Nevertheless, the standard never fails to satisfy my cravings!

    My Chinese books at home...

The Li Bai Mooncake given a free poem book with every purchase of a box of mooncakes...

    Taa Daa!

Haha, I like the packaging they use this year. Looks like a book of poems. And they really provide a small booklet of poems by Li Bai, the famous ancient chinese poet.

    Lovely, lovely! Yum yum!

And the best is the double yokes!

Have you eaten any mooncakes yet?
