    I'm BACK!

I took like 1100+ photos in Taiwan. Excludes those taken by Xiaoli, Justina and Wenjie. Goodness! Lolz. Will try to finalise the photos soon.

Taiwan is indeed a very nice country. Its ppl are friendly and helpful, esp those in Taichung and Hualien. I enjoyed myself quite abit. However I was slightly disappointed from what I expected from this place. But I expected too much. Haha. I'll rate this trip 8/10. So far, Japan's 10/10, Australia's 9/10.

Did lots of shopping. My luggage weighed 12kg at Changi Airport and upon return, it weighed 19.6kg, plus 6.9kg of hand carry baggage. Imagined that!

Thanks to Justina and her family for sending us back last night.

Starting work tmr. Excited and nervous. Oh dear!

This is a pre-scheduled blog post, though I'm currently in Taiwan. In case anyone misses me and my blog entries. Still wanna keep people entertained. Haha, though I never know if there are actually people reading this.
You look at yourself everyday. Changes are happening but you cannot tell the differences. 10 years are very precious to young people as the difference is very obvious. Apparently everyone seemed to be good-looking when they are young despite the fashion.

As in the photo, the above is taken in 1996 when Kinki Kids were only 17 years old.

More than 10 years later in 2008/9, they still look as great at the age of 30. And I would say they never really age. Haha. Tsuyoshi's (right) voice is still as mesmerising; Koichi (left) still looks as princely.

His fans used to call Ryo Nishikido, the cutest Osaka boy, when he was 14 or 15 years old in early 2000s.

There he is... now known as the sexiest Osaka man amongst his fans. In case you don't know who he is, he's Sousuke in Last Friends and Asou-kun in 1 Litre of Tears.

Young Ryo Nishikido, aged 15 (Left) and Yamashita Tomohisa aka YamaPi, aged 14 (Right). In actual fact Ryo was very short, shorter than the younger YamaPi by a lot though YamaPi was younger. Focus on Yamashita, he was then thin.

Yamashita aged 23 in 2008, all grown up and well-built. However his face remains as adorable as he was young.

Who is this chubby 4 month old baby? Photo taken in 1987.

Haha, the chubby face still remains in 2009.

Have you experience a sleepless night before a holiday trip? Say that it's due to excitement.

But I just had mine last night coz I was so afraid that my luggage weighs 20kg before I go. It was like as packed as when I go to Japan during winter. And coz it was late at night, I can't go borrow weighing machine from my neighbour.

Budget allows 20kg luggage, 7 kg hand carry.

If my luggage weighs 20kg before I go, it means I can only bring back 7kg of shopping. That's ridiculous.

    However...

Haha, I just weigh it. It's 10.7kg on the scales. At most it's gonna be 12kg.

    PHEW!

Btw just to share with you all, I'm starting work on 1 June 2009. Back from Taiwan on 30 May.

    Wish me bon voyage =)

Packing luggage is fun yet tedious. This time round, it's causing slight headache for me. Partly coz it's been some time since I last travelled to somewhere for more than 5 days. I'll be away from 21 May to 30 May, so people don't call me unnecessarily. You can SMS but don't expect I'll reply if it's not urgent. Haha. Wait for my return please.

The enjoyable part about packing your luggage is the feeling of anticipation that you're going overseas a less than a few days. Thinking which are the best clothes in your wardrobe to wear so that you'll appear as pretty as possible in the photographs when you come back. Lolz.

This trip is comparatively more interesting coz Xiaoli, Justina, Wenjie and me planned it all from scratch. Japan and Australia were great too but are guided tours. For me it's extremely exciting coz I've never been to Taiwan and it's the country placed first in my heart that I wanna go in these few years.
    .
    .
    .
Wad kind of adventure will await me?

How much shopping will I bring back?

What's the number of photos that will be taken?

    Taiwan here I come!

(Please stay tuned my blog even when I'm away. I've pre-scheduled a blog post during my trip. So there are still updates!)

After the exams, I've been busy. However thinking back I couldn't really remember what I've been busy with. Coz maybe I've been engaged in those trival domestic housework and unimportant stuff.
    Just a quick update...
    1) I went to IKEA at Tampines over last Saturday and bought some wardrobe accessories to compartmentalise my messy dressing wardrobe. Felt extremely satisfied. My sister bought 2 boxes for her letters (from Iwo Jima... kidding).
    2) Met up with Violet Darling last Sunday whom I'll see once in a blue moon. It's always lovely to talk to her and be with her. Not forgetting there was a presence of Xiaoli, the middleman(/gal). When's the next blue moon? Haha, let's check the astronomical magazine.

    The Yummy Crab place

My little cousin playing with his muscus filled handkerchief.

There after I met up my family and my aunt brenda cum family to have a mother's day dinner at Tampines 800 plus' Yummy Crab. Though the dinner was great, the wait was just too long. Gotta eat the 1st dish at 8plus. Gosh!
    3) Monday was as a usual slack day if I didn't recall wrongly.

    4) Tuesday I went with my sis to SIM Uni to pay her 1st school fees. There after I bled profusely. Spent like $200 over in Fashion Lab. Plus some other in Giordano, food... etc. Bought Xiaoli's present.

    5) Wednesday - Dental appt. I was damn worried about my right bridge/denture which was a little shaky. The last thing I want is my bridge to come off during the Taiwan trip. That'll be a big handeache for me. Fortunately the dentist told me that it should be fine but she made the frequency of the annual check up closer.

    Xiaoli's birthday at Clarke Quay!

    6) We went to catch the movie Wolverine on Thursday night. Kinda nice but I didn't know thursday night tickets cost $8.50 each. Ex man! = X Men
I wanna watch Transformers, Harry Potter 6, Angels and Demon, Night Musuem 2...

    7) Then I went to cut and dye my hair on Friday at Far East J-Salon. Did a bit of window shopping coz I was trying to control myself for the Taiwan trip.

    8) Went to Bedok market to have breakfast then I cooked Japanese curry rice. My dad commented that it was delicious :p He seldom like eating such stuff.

    9) Met up with my Taiwan tourmates - WJ, Xiaoli and Justina to finalise our itinerary.

And the next few days will be starting on packing my luggage in bits. I think really need to make sure that I don't overload my luggage. Hope that I can nurse my injured toe in time for the trip. I was cutting my toenails when I accidentally poked the scissors right into my flesh.

Tomorrow at 4.30pm will be my informal graduation.

The last time I'm regarded as a student in NUS. I will soon be "used to be a student in NUS".
