The round full moon - Mid Autumn Festival
I had my 2nd singing contest in my entire life. The 1st was when I was 5 yr old. I didn't win any prize for that coz I sang without any music. It was also a last min decision to go up to sing competitively.
I participated in 2 events in the mooncake festival at my aunt's place this year. One is a singing contest - the 2nd in my life - I sang Angela Zhang's "Ying Xing De Chi Pang", Invisible Wings.
The another competition is a simplified version of Don't Forget The Lyrics, which amazingly, I won! Haha. The song was "Cheng Li De Yue Guang" by Xiu Mei Jing.
I didn't win any prize for the singing contest partly becoz...
(a) My family wasn't paying attention when it was my turn to get the applause. So they didn't cheer loud enough.
(b) I didn't stay at that condo so I can only garner cheers from my family whilst other contestants had cheers from other tables too.
(c) The sound system was "te-rok" coz it's only a mini event at a condo so we can't expect much.
This is a toiletery bag which I won from the Don't Forget The Lyrics contest. The present is quite "te-rok", coz it's a Yakult drink free gift (*_*")
Nevertheless I really enjoyed myself very much. Perhaps I should go participate in more singing contest? Lol.
